Lactose / fructose intolerance is evaluated with hydrogen/methane breath testing after standardized carbohydrate challenge, with optional LCT (−13910C/T) genotyping for lactase persistence, and adjunct stool pH/reducing substances in pediatrics. SMSL can also screen for SIBO or other malabsorptive disorders where appropriate. We supply validated breath-test kits and run molecular and chemistry panels via our partner platforms to confirm intolerance and guide dietary therapy.
