Description

MEDICA BIOX – Your Lab’s Environmental Guardian

The MEDICA BIOX is not just a system—it’s your laboratory’s environmental guardian. Purpose-built to treat clinical analyzer effluent, BIOX delivers >95% removal of microplastics ≥60 nm, log 6 bacterial inactivation, and log 4 viral inactivation—all in a single, compact, high-performance unit. Say goodbye to toxic discharge, regulatory headaches, and hidden waste liabilities. With mercury-free UV-C advanced oxidation, BIOX provides a smarter, safer, greener path from analyzer to drain.

How It Works

Analyzer waste enters BIOX, where UV-C–driven advanced oxidation and controlled processing cycles destroy biohazards and break down organics before discharge. The treated effluent exits at 30 L/hr (continuous) or up to 60 L/hr (non-continuous), ready for safe drain release.

Key Benefits

  • Ultimate protection — removes microplastics, bacteria, and viruses before they hit the drain
  • Effortless compliance — UV-C oxidation, no added chemicals; always audit-ready
  • Lower costs — cut waste-disposal fees, reduce liability, protect uptime
  • Unstoppable reliability — designed for continuous duty; auto-restart after power loss
  • Plug-and-play — compact footprint, simple inlet/outlet plumbing
  • Operational confidence — on-screen alarms, USB data logging, and service-prep mode

Where It Fits

Ideal for chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, and molecular analyzer waste lines where biohazard control, microplastics reduction, and pH/organics treatment are required before drain—without adding chemicals or mercury.
